New order of the Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On Approval of the Rules for Advertising Medicines and Medical Devices».

Starting from December 30, 2020, the current Order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 105 shall cease to be in force.

The new Order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. ҚР ДСМ-288/2020 «On Approval of the Rules for Advertising Medicines and Medical Devices» dated December 20, 2020, shall enter into force.

The main requirements cover the following points:

1. The term for assessing advertising materials for medicines and medical devices for compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been reduced from 20 calendar days to 10 business days.

2. To be noticed is that, earlier, when non-compliance with the requirements was identified in the submitted documents and materials, a reasoned refusal was issued.  According to the new order, the applicants have the opportunity to follow up on feedback within 10 business days.
